Hi, I'm Tracey!

My mission is simple, to make the science of reading easy. Can you imagine what it felt like as a qualified experienced teacher when I realized my child wasn’t learning to read like other kids. He loved books, we read books together everyday. Seriously, somedays it felt like we read dozens of books, but he just wasn’t learning to read like other kids. Rather than waiting and seeing like the education system wanted me to, I decided to take it into my own hands. I learnt, researched and trained in the science of reading.
Now, I make the science of reading easy for every parent who want’s to support their child.

Kid's Don't Magically Learn to Read.

Did you know that learning to read is one of the hardest tasks the brain does?
That the brain doesn't come pre-wired to learn to read.
That reading is a code, a human invention that happened about 6000 years ago.
That we have to build the neural circuitry from scratch for reading.
So, when I say kids don't magically learn to read I mean it.
In fact only 5% of kids learn to read with minimal support, 60% with significant support and 35% with intensive instruction. "Read About It: Scientific Evidence for Effective Teaching of Reading."

Hi! I'm Tracey Hayles, teacher/multi-sensory learning specialist and Mum of two very successful dyslexic readers. Over the last 7 years I've worked with 100's of families with struggling readers, taking the science of reading and creating a formula that families can implement knowing they are giving their child the best chance of reading success.

I do this through my reading academy, delivered through my online courses and private programs. So you can get your child reading without the hours spent searching for the right program, making resources, reading research or trying to find extra time to take your child to a tutor.
